James Mentink

Mentink's Auction Service

Nobody CARES how much you know, until they know how much you CARE.

With my background in sales I can take a lot of the guess work out of the auction process. I love working for and with people in all aspects of life. I believe that with my experience and insight I am able to understand client’s wants and needs in order to obtain record prices in any economic condition. Helping a client achieve satisfaction throughout the entire process is why I decided to become an auctioneer.

Auction marketing is the finest way to sell anything when you want to obtain the highest and best price possible. I am totally committed to serving all my clients with respect and in a professional manner.

BIOGRAPHY:I graduated from Continental Auction School in Mankato, MN in the fall of 2013. I received my Wisconsin State Auctioneer license a few weeks later. I am also certified in personal property appraisal and online auctioning. After working for a few auction companies gaining experience, I decided to start my own auction business.

I live north of Glenwood City, WI on a small hobby farm with my wife Beth, my son Jerome and my daughter Eva. We breed and sell Shire draft horses. I have worked in the excavating business since 1999 and with my brother we farm a few acres consisting mostly of corn and soybeans.

Mentink’s Auction Service specializes in Farm, Real Estate and all aspects of the Equine industry. Live or online auctions, charity/fundraising auctions and estates serving Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.
