11:30AM Firearms – What firearms can be sold at auction and under what circumstances does the auctioneer need to be an FFL? What constitutes “engaged in the business?” When is an FFL not needed? – taught by Mike Brandly

2:30PM Ethics – Ever sat through a boring, tedious ethics class? You’ll have the opposite experience here as attendees browse ethics in a lighthearted, general overview and explore how auctioneers are viewed by the general public. – taught by Mike Brandly

5:30PM Sales Tax in Wisconsin – taught by Vicki Gibbons

This location requires all soda and water is purchased from vendor.  Attendees can bring coffee, juices, and other beverages (not water or soda) and snacks to the seminar.  The WAA will be provide lunch for all day attendees.

11:30AM Three Simple Steps to Modern Marketing – In this session, you will learn three simple modern marketing techniques that will significantly impact the success of your marketing campaigns. You will leave the room with your own written action plan for modern marketing success – taught by John Schultz

2:30PM Digital Media for Increased Revenue – Increasingly it is necessary to incorporate digital media into auction marketing campaigns. In this session, you will explore the latest techniques to target both new and existing customers on social media platforms, and how to leverage this exposure into increased sales – taught by John Schultz

5:30PM Proposal to Sold in Five Steps – In this session, you will learn a five-step process to contracting, selling and marketing assets sold at auction. The process is infused with modern marketing and research techniques to ensure the value obtained for the assets is maximized – taught by John Schultz

This location will have vending machines available for purchase of beverages. Please feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages.  The WAA will provide lunch will be provided for all day attendees.
